About the wine
A dramatic deep purple color, this 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon opens with enticing aromas of cocoa, blackberry, violet and spice. This wine is luxurious and rich with dark fruit flavors, balanced with touches of juicy raspberry, maraschino cherry, vanilla and a hint of star anise. The finish is silky, luscious and aromatic with wonderfully balanced and integrated velvety tannins.
This limited production wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the fruit was hand-harvested between September 23rd and 24th. Grapes were fermented on the skins and underwent extended maceration for an average of 38 days to lend complexity and depth to the wine before being racked to new, tight-grained, medium and medium-plus toast French oak barrels for 19 months of aging. Only our best barrels from Ermitage and Saury were selected for this wine.
