About the wine
Rich aromas of red Bing cherry, blueberry and spice spring from the glass with nuances of coffee and caramel. This full-bodied wine showcases a palate full of round juicy plums and black cherry with hints of toffee. Plush tannins and well-balanced acidity make this wine undeniably robust.
After a few challenging years, 2021 was remarkably uneventful and void of long, lingering heatwaves, allowing the grapes to ripen at their regular rate. While the yield was slightly lighter than average due to a variety of water conservation efforts, the 2021 vintage is showing exceptional flavors – ripe, intense, and fruit-forward – with a much better balance than in past years.
