About the wine
Enticing stone fruit aromas greet the nose with notes of lemon peel and violet. Apricot and peach flavors continue through to the palate with toasted brioche and lemon curd. Crisp and refreshing with every sip, there is a nice salinity on the finish.
After a few challenging years, 2021 was a steady year, allowing the grapes to ripen at their regular pace. While the yield was slightly lighter than average due to a variety of water conservation efforts, the 2021 vintage is showing exceptional flavors – ripe, intense, and fruit forward – with a much better balance than in past years.
