About the wine
This Zinfandel opens with a beautiful bouquet of blackberry, violet and a hint of expresso bean on the nose. Nuances of dark, dense rhubarb and ripe Bing cherry complement the complex layers of roasted brown spices on the palate. This is a full-bodied wine with well-integrated and supple tannins that coat the mouth with a smooth and round finish.
This wine is made from carefully selected Zinfandel grapes grown in prestigious, organically farmed vineyards across Mendocino County before being aged in primarily French Oak staves, imparting a light oak characteristic.
