The 2022 50th Anniversary Collection Red Wine welcomes the senses with the delicate aroma of cherry blossom, subtly underscored by a hint of cocoa. Its expressive palate reveals layers of cherry and cassis, beautifully interwoven with succulent plum, luscious boysenberry, and nuanced oak accents. The experience is one of pure opulence, with a round, sumptuous texture enhanced by fine-grained tannins, culminating in a long, enduring finish that leaves a lasting impression.

Raymond Vineyards was founded in 1974 by the Raymond family and is today inspired by the vision of Proprietor Jean-Charles Boisset. With a passion for fine wine in an environment of exploration, creativity, and elegant whimsicality, Raymond Vineyards is one of Napa Valley’s most iconic and pioneering wineries. We are proud to celebrate five generations and 50 years of Family Winemaking.
The grapes for our 50th Anniversary Collection Red Wine are sourced from a blend of four vineyards for the Cabernet Sauvignon. Two of these vineyards are in St. Helena, with one featuring soils with very low water-holding capacity, and the other situated at 680 feet elevation on rhyolitic tuff soil. The Oakville vineyard, located on the east side, has Perkins soils—a mix of alluvial soil and rock. The Napa vineyard is perched on the eastern hills at 380 feet, with Sobrante soils formed from volcanic rock. The Petit Verdot in the blend comes from two vineyards on the valley floor in Rutherford, both featuring Pleasanton loam soils. The overall composition of the blend is approximately 40% St. Helena, 20% Oakville, 16% Rutherford, and the balance from Napa.
