Appellation

Napa Valley

Varietal

Cabernet Sauvignon

About the wine

A deep purple in the glass, this 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon embraces rich fruit aromas of raspberry and black cherry with touches of coee, bay leaf and eucalyptus. Well balanced with notes of anise, tobacco, rip blackberry and black tea. The finish is elegant and bold with refined tannins and a luxuriously long finish.

The grapes were harvested at the end of October and fermented on the skins for 38 days with an extended maceration. After fermentation, the wine was gently pressed, racked, and aged for 18 months in 35% new French oak
barrels. Tightly grained, French oak barrels from forests in the center of France impart their oak on wines slowly for a consistent, well-rounded aging process while yielding subtle oak influences to the Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered.
