About the wine
The glass opens with vibrant aromas of fresh grapefruit, mango, and lemon tart, woven with subtle notes of almond and a refreshing brightness. The palate is richly textured, offering generous layers of fig, apricot, and tropical fruit, carried by a smooth, supple mouthfeel and accented by a hint of warm spice. The finish is clean and energetic, balancing the wine’s depth with a long, graceful persistence.
Generations is a tribute to the Raymond family’s five generations of winemaking in Napa Valley. This limited-production wine is 100% Chardonnay and represents the winery’s purest expression of the varietal. The wine was 100% barrel fermented and underwent full malolactic fermentation, then aged for 15–16 months in 53% new French oak (François Frères and Baron), with the balance in once- and twice-used barrels, before being bottled unfiltered.
