The grapes for our Estate Collection Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc come from a blend of two vineyards in St. Helena. One vineyard, located north of St. Helena, features bale loam soils—a mix of gravel and sand from alluvial sources. The other is our estate vineyard in St. Helena, characterized by Pleasanton loam soils, which consist of finer gravel, sand, and fertile earth. St. Helena’s warm days and cool nights create the perfect environment for growing Sauvignon Blanc, allowing the grapes to retain their acidity and sustain their freshness.
