About the wine
Our 2021 Small Lot Zinfandel unfurls with the enticing scents of freshly picked strawberry, vibrant red currant, and subtle wisps of delicate white blossoms. This medium-bodied wine embraces the palate with succulent flavors of blackberry, plum, and a dash of alluring nutmeg and cracked pepper. Meticulously integrated tannins and precisely balanced acidity bestow a harmonious structure upon this wine, culminating in a lingering and enduring finish.
The grapes were picked in the cool morning hours on September 27, 2021, and October 5, 2021. The wine was pressed off shortly after primary fermentation was complete, then racked and aged in 15% new French oak barrels for 18-19 months.
