About the wine
The 2012 vintage of our Estate Collection Cabernet Sauvignon opens with tempting aromas of blackberry and cinnamon with light touches of rose and cardamom. Full-bodied and dense on the palate, this wine displays luscious flavors of brambleberry, mulberry, cedar, and cigar box. With structured tannins and a long finish, this wine pairs perfectly with braised lamb or filet mignon.
After the grapes were hand-picked and sorted, the wine spent 25-30 days on the skins before being aged for 20 months in 40% new French oak. The tightly grained barrels provide textural complexity, added depth, and a plush, full body.
